General Session: Overview of Osteoporosis

ACCREDITATION

This continuing medical education activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Medical Education (ACCME) through the sponsorship of the National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF). The National Osteoporosis Foundation is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The National Osteoporosis Foundation designates this continuing medical educational activity for a maximum of 1.75 Category 1 credits toward the Physician’s Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. Physician participants should claim only those hours of credit that they actually spend in the educational activity.

After registering and paying for the course, you will be given links to the CME test and course evaluation. You should complete the test first, and you will be scored automatically. You may take the test as many times as necessary to pass it. Then, in order to receive credit, you must fill out the course evaluation form. Once you have passed the test and filled out the course evaluation you will be able to print the CME certificate yourself.

It should take approximately ½ hour to complete the test and evaluation.
